Exciting News: Successful Completion of 15th ARC and YNGC Promotional Campaign at Daffodil International University (DIU)
The 15th Asian Regional Conference (ARC) of IAEG and Young National Geoscience Conference (YNGC) 2025 promotional campaign was successfully held at Daffodil International University (DIU) organized by IAEG Bangladesh National Group and co-organized by IAEG YEG JU and WEG_BNG. The event featured insightful presentations by Atm Shakhawat Hossain (IAEG_BNG President), Dr. Mahmuda Rikta (WEG_BNG) and Asmaul Miad who introduced the upcoming YEG 1st National Geoscience Conference & Exhibition 2025. Honored guests included Dr. Hasan Imam(Member of IAEG-BNG) and Md. Emdadul Haque (Vice-President, IAEG_BNG) with the session presided over by the Honorable DEAN of DIU. Special appreciation goes to Mahfuza Parveen, Director of ESDM, DIU for her invaluable support. The event, beautifully anchored by an ESDM student received an overwhelmingly positive response from students and faculty. We look forward to seeing them at the conference! | |

Exciting News: Indian Institute of Technology(IIT),Patna Joins ARC-15 of IAEG as an International Supporting Partner!
We are proud to announce that Indian Institute of Technology, Patna (IITP) is an International Supporting Partner for the 15th Asian Regional Conference (ARC-15) of IAEG. This collaboration strengthens global research and knowledge exchange in engineering geology, fostering academic and industry engagement. IIT Patna successfully hosted the ASAGE'25 conference from February 6-8, 2025 bringing together 250+ delegates from academia, industry and government to discuss advancements in structural and geotechnical engineering.
Dr. Ranjan Kumar Dahal, Vice President, International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment (IAEG) and President , Nepal Society of Engineering Geology (NSEG) was one of the Keynote Lecturer. His Lecture was on "Geotechnical Challenges of Deep-Seated Gravitational Slope Deformations(DGSDs) in Infrastructure Development across the Himalaya". He also mentioned the ARC-15 of IAEG which will be held from 27-29 November 2025 in Kathmandu, Nepal and welcomed everyone attending the conference to take part in ARC-15 of IAEG. | |

ARC-15 Update: Extended Abstract submission for ARC-15 is now Open
Extended Abstracts (2 pages) of only those authors or presenters who have already paid their registration fee within the deadline will be published in the Special Issue of Volume 2 of the Asian Journal of Engineering Geology, which will be distributed to all the registered participants during the conference. We are accepting two-page Extended Abstracts for ARC-15 of IAEG. You are invited to submit your abstract for presentation at ARC-15.
While submitting, please select the “ARC15 Extended Abstract” section (limited to 2 pages only). - 30 January 2025: Initiation of Extended Abstract Submission for ARC-15 of IAEG.
- 30 October 2025: Last date for submission of Extended Abstracts.

The 15th Asian Regional Conference (ARC-15) of the International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment (IAEG) will take place from November 27–29, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu, Nepal. Here are the important dates to remember: - 30 October 2024: Conference 1st circular and pre-registration open.
- 30 January 2025: Conference 2nd circular and registration open with Extended Abstract (two pages) submission and payment of early bird registration fee.
- 15 June 2025: Conference early bird registration fee payment deadline.
- 30 August 2025: Conference 3rd circular and submission of full paper for peer review.
- 15 October 2025: Conference 4th circular.
- 30 October 2025: Final Extended Abstract (two pages) submission.
- 15 November 2025: Conference final circular.
- 27 November 2025: Conference on-site registration and full payment of registration fee.
- 31 December 2025: Deadline of submission of Full Paper.
- 31 July 2026: Publication of Proceeding Volume as Vol. 3 (No. 1) of Asian Journal of Engineering Geology (ajeg.nseg.org.np).
- 31 December 2026: Publication of Proceeding Volume as Vol. 3 (No. 2) of Asian Journal of Engineering Geology.
